It's always a great experience! The food is fresh and delicious. I really enjoy the home like feel.

Our meal was everything!!! The seafood was made to order and very fresh. Everything was well seasoned and just right. They have definitely found a new lifetime customer!

The food was good and they cook it fresh daily.

Been coming here for almost 10 years, I walk in about to order $100 worth of crab for dinner with the family. Clown lady at the counter tells me I can’t order without a mask.. clown.

This was my first time going but it won't be my last! My husband wanted garlic crabs and I stopped here. It's a little pricey but my husband said they were great so the price is worth the quality!

Finally able to stop in. Purchased local shrimp. Family owned, very friendly. Tried the garlic crab, delicious! Made shrimp scampi at home and shrimp were excellent. Can't wait to return.

One of the best meals I've ever had. I'll be dreaming about that crabby boil for sure.

Ravenel seafood is the best sea food in the southeast period, and I have travel the nation on a continuing basis eating sea food from commercial chain seafood restaurants to mom and pop establishments like Ravenel fresh seafood. They are uniquely the best.

Besides some of the BEST GARLIC CRABS to travel for, they have some of THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE ever! I live out of town and had an issue. The morning of the next business day, I was contacted and the issue was RESOLVED with some of the BEST SOUTHERN HOSPITALITY I've ever experienced!!! Go see dem ya hear!!!

I enjoy coming here. The food is always fresh & tasty. My favorite is garlic crabs. Very enjoyable. Staff friendly.

Y'all.... Let me tell you. This place here is the best kept secret on 17!!! I almost don't want to post this so they don't get gobbled up by tourists. But that isn't fair to them. The food is serious. This isn't the richy let me charge you 50 for 1 oyster on a white plate seafood. This is real lowcountry food!!! I seriously could go on and on. It doesn't matter what you order. It's all good!!!

Lord the garlic crabs are everything I live in New York but my home is here in south CAROLINA every time I go home I have to get the garlic crabs at least 3 times b4 I leave the south trust try them there great and the whole place and food are good

One of the best places to buy cooked seafood

I got full and they gave me what i asked for unfortunately my eyes and my taste buds were not on point. The food was very bland! And they seem to have put pepper on my fries no salt or type of seasoning. However it was my first time and i don't think for the money i spent i will be ordering that again.

This place is unorganized and unprofessional the workers do not pick up the phone so you can't order to go orders I was Saturday April 18, 2020 I waited for my food for (AN HOUR) I was not happy the person that took my order took it the worng way And the person that showed me my food she was like this was what you order and no refunds I advise people to do not come here any more Go to a place that is more professional and communicate with people better

Garlic crabs were amazing! It wasn't fast, but the old adage "good things are worth waiting for" holds true here! This is definitely a locals spot. So glad someone told us about it! Next time we're in Charleston, we'll definitely stop again!

The best seafood EVER! Worth the travel from Beaufort. Garlic, fried, steamed, snow, blue crabs celebration!!! Plus other seafood cooked to order or take something fresh home and cook it yourself. This place is a MUST stop by location!! Trust you won't be disappointed!!!

I gave an extra star because the cashier was friendly, but this place is extremely expensive for such a small amount of food to be given in each order and it tastes just ok. Got red rice for sides and the rice was extremely hard and cold. I’ve definitely had better and this is definitely not the best seafood in the South.

1st time visiting, but loved it. I was told it would take 25-30 minutes for my food because they were busy and the wait time was accurate. However, the food was phenomenal. Flaky fried white fish, buttery scallops, and perfect fried local shrimp. The red rice was a killer side item as well.

I always stop and get the delicious flounder basket on my way back to Beaufort

I don't know if they closed this place down or what but they shouldn't have this listed as OPEN when it looks closed down and isn't open in the middle of the day.

Customer service is TERRIBLE...The food is great but the customer service is so bad that I wouldn't dare visit again. The guys that work there are really cool but one bad apple (old woman) definitely spoils the bunch.

O M G the garlic crab is amazing! Everything else looked incredible but we only bought the crab. Be patient when waiting for service, it was not fast. Two people cooking seafood to order so don't think of it as fast food.

I reached all the way back to this experience!! I am going back to South Carolina and I will definitely be visiting this place again. The crab was so good, I never had crab that delicious ever again. Can't wait to have it again in October!!

Oooooooo babyyyyyyyy! We traveled far and wide, and through a good ole' South Carolina monsoon for these Garlic Butter Crabs lol. And they were worth EVERY finger licking bite 😋😋😋

Very friendly and we got our food fast, owner gave a sampler of garlic blue crab (to strong for us), 2 pc flounder and 12 pc shrimp with fries, cooked perfect but not seasoned well, trucks with trailers park in median.

Garlic crabs were good and customer service from the lady in the back was excellent after we told her we were traveling for a funeral. She helped us out by putting our garlic crabs on ice. The young kid at the register had a nonchalant attitude towards my 70 year old Mother when she placed her order. No respect or manners at all. The price for 1 dozen medium garlic crabs were $39.42 with tax which is a little excessive to me considering some of the smaller pieces were too soft from being boiled too long but since we live in NC and can't get anything at all, I'll give this 3 stars because it was available, I could taste the garlic and the lady in the back did try to help us.
